    Time is usually what steals our ability to truly interact with our students and provide useful feedback in an efficient manner. I am always looking for ways to do that better.

    Agree. Tom’s character, purpose, and setting may impact why the author chooses to convey his ideas the way he did.

    Totally agree with the black-and-white analogy. It requires more intentionality with questioning and ordering of thought-provoking activities.

    Agree with your previous experiences with reading comprehension. It is a lot more complex than I thought. The intentionality of a teacher to help guide students and help them identify how they are comprehending is crucial in understanding.

    I think this type of learning helps to establish the idea of worldview and how it pertains to all content. Good thought!
